ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to determine the character of music cognition and self-regulated learning theories and to provide the effective music learning through implicating cognitive self-regulation and strategiesin music education.The music cognition is based on several aspects : cognition, metacognition, the cognitive psychology of music and music education. The self-regulated learning is provided with the general subject of self-regulation theories, cognitive regulation and cognitive regulation strategies. This study also involved the function of music cognition in music learning and several samples of cognitive practice strategies in instrumental practice. The treatise of music education is researched about musical cognitive regulation.
