A research on teaching methods for project-based musical activities linking curriculum subjects

ABSTRACT

This research is about teaching methods of making project-based musical activities linking curriculum subjects based on the profound understanding of the essence of the musical. The 2015 revised Music curriculum is emphasizing the imperativeness of producing the Musical activities which is combined by all kinds of artistic area by suggesting the link between Music and other curriculum subjects including other artistic area mainly centered on Music. In this study, I present basic administrative procedures of the project-based musical activity, a main role of the guidance teachers, a process of progress and the contents of guidance of each subject in order to support the project between other curriculum subjects which is related on the composition of musical. Through this work, I expect a paradigm shift of making Musical in school field and more organized and decent School Musical making activities can be possible.
